Essex Marine Police were recently called in for questioning by our younger members during Marconi Cadet Week. Our Cadets were able to ask all about the work of the Marine Police and find out how they help to keep the Essex coastline safe. They also found out what it takes to become a Marine Police officer and all about the different boats that the police use to patrol our waters.
Following the question and answer session, the Cadets headed down to the waters edge and were able to get up close to two of the watercraft used by the Marine Police and even get to sit on them!
The visit was greatly enjoyed by all members (old and young) and we are grateful to Essex Police for giving up their time to visit.
