Marconi Sailing Club host a range of one off races which fall outside of normal series racing. Everything from an over 40’s race to long distance events around the River Blackwater.

Marconi Mayhem series and Mayhem Shield will be raced over the Bank holiday weekend of 30th – 31st August 2026. 3 races round the cans for the series and a long distance race Saturday Morning for the shield.

The final fling was held on the 25-10-15 and was well attended, but ended up not going anywhere, as there was a lack of wind. With all sailors retired due to the fact they could not make the first Mark against the tide.
