Team Marconi were out in force at the Dart 15 Nationals held last weekend at neighbouring Stone Sailing Club. It was a scorcher of a weekend with temperatures reaching up to 37 degrees and a wide range of wind conditions from light sea breezes to 20 knots wind over tide.
Marconi had a terrific medal haul taking 2nd, 4th, 10th and 11th places – plus winning Races 2, 3, 4 and 8.
Marconi also won the Two Up Cup, Youth Cup, Young Guns Trophy, Over 70s, Over 80s, Heavyweight, Classic Boat, Most Improved and Most Persistent Awards. And the overall Team Trophy! A tremendous weekend all round.
