Race 3 in the Autumn Cruiser Race Series will be run on Sunday 2nd October.
Please make sure that your crews are on the hard ready to be delivered to their boats by ribs at 0930 hours.
It’s a busy weekend on the river, with a topper open racing in the area of the Doctor and a Musto Skiff open racing in St Lawrence bay. Our possible courses are therefore limited as we don’t want to get in the way of these fleets but our friends at Stone SC have agreed to allow the cruisers to use their race marks.
If we meet the Stone SC fleet at one of their marks we need to give them room. If this means that you would have to move in a manner that would be unexpected according to the Racing Rules of Sailing, then be sure to make the move obvious and in very good time so as to avoid confusing other sailors.
The Cruiser Race Officer will be afloat on Ned Kelly and will start the race using VHF77
All boats are required to call the R.O. on VHF77 registering their intention to race from 1030.
The Race will start at 1050.
There will be a 10 minute warning followed by a 5, 4, 1, GO sound signal on VHF77
The R.O. will select one of the following courses. Follow the links to download the course cards.
