On Sunday 18th September, once again Marconi Sailing Club are joining forces with other clubs on the River Blackwater to offer a Barts Bash experience like no other. Those who have done it before will tell you just how much fun the start-line for the fast handicap fleet can be, especially if your watching from the relative safety of a support boat. If you like to take pictures of boats or people having a great time this is the place to be.
As in previous years there will be three races, slow handicap with their own start line, fast handicap which will be a separate round Osea Island course both of these races are scheduled to start at 13:30. The cruiser race will start from the fast handicap start line and race towards Bradwell with a start time of 13:15.
To sign up go to the Barts Bash web site and look for B.J.R.C ( Blackwater Joint Racing Clubs).

If you are able to help with the running of this event either as support crew or on the committee boat we are still looking for a few volunteers, contact Tom Clayton if you would like to help. Even better still come join the fun sailing, we have a few club boats available on a first come first served basis on the day and there are always a few larger “fun Boats” with a space or two on board, come and get involved.
