YOU ARE REMINDED THAT YOU HAVE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR VESSEL AND CREWMEMBERS SAFETY WHEN PARTAKING IN ANY EVENT LISTED ON THIS WEBSITE.
Skippers of all vessels are responsible for themselves, their crew and their vessels whether afloat or ashore, and nothing in this website or anywhere else, reduces this responsibility.
It is for the skipper to decide whether it is fit to sail in the conditions in which the boat will find herself. By going to sea, the skipper confirms that the boat is fit for those conditions and her crew is competent to sail in them.
Nothing done by the organisers or the Marconi Sailing Club can reduce the responsibility of the skipper and crew nor will it make the organisers of any event responsible for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, however it may have occurred, as a result of the boat taking part in the event. The organisers encompass everyone, organising or helping to run the event, and includes all contributors to this website.
Members of the Club Cruiser Fleet participate in the BJRC Series (Blackwater Joint Racing Committee) of races. Some try to enter them all while others will enter one or two.
