Sailing Conditions
If you enjoy “blasting” on flat water in a force 5 South-westerly or “chop hopping” when it really gets up, you could not come to a better place....
Though our location is not ideal for beginners because of tidal effects, experienced sailors can enjoy good windsurfing conditions when the wind is from virtually any direction. The effect of Osea Island, ½ a mile across the water, opposite the Club, channels the wind and often gives it a welcome boost.
Facilities
We have a grassed parking and rigging area close to the water and launching is easy at any state of the tide, though the best windsurfing conditions are generally to be found at low water.
When you have had enough of the action the Clubhouse showers are a real treat!
